When deciding on a cause that is near and dear to the hearts of the entire team at The Law Offices of Lance Fryrear, there were many ideas, but one clear answer: animals. Our whole team here loves animals, especially our pets - in addition to our favorite firm mascot, Manny the Miniature Schnauzer. So, for our March charity event, we held a Lend a Paw Donation Drive at our office for the Everett Animal Shelter.
Everett Animal Shelter is a non-profit that is committed to providing comfort and care to homeless and abused pets in the Everett community. They take in dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and many more household pets that have been abandoned by their owners, are abused or injured, are strays, or just need a new home. The Everett Animal Shelter assists not only in providing health services and rehoming to animals that need it, but also helps with pet licensing, microchipping, and animal control. One of our team members, Natalie Adams, adopted her cat Yaggy from the Everett Animal Shelter and said, “I adopted my cat Yaggy from Everett Animal Shelter in 2016 and am so grateful I found her. She has been with me through college, multiple moves, and numerous life events. She is the best cat, and I can’t imagine my life without her!”
During the month of March, the team worked together to collect items to help fulfill the Donation Wish List from the Everett Animal Shelter’s website. We received donations from members of our team, friends, family members, office neighbors, and clients. We brought in food, treats, towels and blankets, medical supplies, and toys. When March was over, a few of our team members delivered the donations to the animal shelter. We were thrilled to fill the shelter’s donation bin, providing much-needed food and toys for the animals to enjoy for months to come.
The Law Offices of Lance Fryrear values serving others and our community, and our Lend a Paw Donation Drive was a fun way to give back to a cause that means so much to the entire team. We appreciate all of those who were able to contribute to our donation event and provide some support to the local animal shelter with us. Our firm is passionate about helping others, and it is the reason we do what we do. We appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community, and to lend a paw to our furry friends at the Everett Animal Shelter.
