On November 20, 2021, our firm donated 100 turkeys to the Lynnwood Food Bank. Four of our members have volunteered to be part of the distribution event.

Founded in 1978, Lynnwood Food Bank began as “Joseph’s Closet,” working with the Lynnwood Church of the Nazarene, currently named Silver Creek Family Church. In 1982, the organization joined the Snohomish County Coalition, and it operated as part of the church’s non-profit status. Lynnwood Food Bank eventually incorporated in 2004, gaining independent, 501 status.

The organization works all year long to help community members in need. Annually, it hosts a Thanksgiving event, allowing the less fortunate an opportunity to participate in this American tradition. By giving away turkeys and groceries to make a complete Thanksgiving dinner, the food bank is potentially providing meals for days. The food bank funds this event itself, so we are glad to give them a helping hand by providing 100 turkeys.

As Attorney Lance Fryrear states, “I have been a member of the Lynnwood community, both as a prosecutor, and now as a defense attorney for more than 27 years. Lynnwood has given a lot to me. No one should go hungry in this country, and we are proud to be able to support the local area in these difficult times.”

The Law Offices of Lance Fryrear is a criminal defense team dedicated to protecting people from getting lost in the system. This donation is an extension of that mission. We know that many underprivileged people have been dealt a bad hand, especially now, and they need a boost to be free of their situation. By providing meals, we hope to help ease their burden.

For over 25 years, we have helped defend Lynnwood residents from criminal accusations. If you’ve been charged with a crime, contact our firm for help. You can reach us at (425) 224-7075 or online.
