Sabrina Puranik
Attorney
About
Sabrina is an attorney with experience in litigation, complex investigations, and client advocacy across both government and private practice. At the Law Offices of Lance Fryrear, she represents clients in protection order matters with a focus on safeguarding constitutional rights while thoughtfully crafting persuasive client narratives before the court.
Prior to joining the firm, Sabrina practiced removal defense at an immigration firm, where she developed strategic legal arguments designed to protect clients facing high-stakes proceedings. This work sharpened her ability to present compelling personal histories while balancing legal precision. Sabrina also served as an attorney with the Federal Aviation Administration, where she handled complex regulatory and litigation matters involving administrative law, rulemaking, and federal compliance issues. Earlier, she clerked for the Honorable Bridget A. Stecher in Newark, New Jersey, drafting judicial opinions, moderating settlement conferences, and assisting in arbitration panels with a reported pre-trial settlement success rate of 94%.
During law school, Sabrina worked with the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor on multi-agency investigations involving the DEA, NYPD, and DHS. There, she drafted appellate briefs, search warrants, and investigative materials while developing a deep understanding of how legal narratives can shape outcomes in high-pressure proceedings. Her experience translating jail calls in Spanish, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu further strengthened her ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds and ensure their stories were accurately represented.
Throughout her career, Sabrina has remained committed to client-centered advocacy — helping individuals navigate emotionally charged legal situations while preserving their dignity, credibility, and legal protections. She earned a J.D. from New York Law School with High Honors, while on a full academic scholarship and holds a B.A. in Chemistry and History from Rowan University.
